  1. Avoid daily shampooing – Shampoos often contain detergent and chemicals that cause your scalp to itch and make your hair unhealthy. As it is you feel uncomfortable at this time due to the heat and sweat, so do not add to the discomfort by using shampoo every day. Wash your hair with plain water every day as it is essential to wash away the sweat and dust. Shampoo it just once or twice a week, and that too with the mildest shampoo you can find.
  2. Use conditioner – Avoid shampoos, but use a good conditioner that can nourish your hair. Your hair loses a lot of nourishment and becomes weak during this season. Use a good conditioner that can replenish the hair with the required nourishment and keep it strong. Look for a conditioner that suits your hair type and use it regularly.
  3. Use a scarf – When you go out in the sun, remember to cover your hair with a scarf. The harmful UV rays of the sun can cause a lot of hair damage. Your hair can also lose its natural color due to long exposure to the rays of the sun. so an easy solution here is to cover your hair when you step out.
  4. Tie your hair loosely – Try to wear your hair in a loose bun or a relaxed ponytail. Do not opt for hairstyles that ask you to tightly tie up your hair. If your hair is tightly tied up, it will not have space to let the heat out. This will cause excessive sweating. Consequently, the pores of the hair will become loose and you will experience uncontrollable hair loss. Avoid this and keep your hair loosely tied for as long as you can.
  5. Get a comfortable cut – And finally, get a nice and stylish haircut for summertime. If your hair is too long, you will struggle to keep it healthy and safe during summer. This is why many people opt for the chic short haircuts that look immensely trendy and help in keeping the hair healthy as well. However, it is not mandatory to chop off your tresses in this season. You can definitely keep your hair long, provided you take all the necessary care to keep it well-nourished and strong.
